Good stuff! I liked the little rabbit character. The hand drawn/doodle aesthetic is cute and fun, I wish it had continued for each asset (though I understand that's a lot of work for a game jam). It reminds me of the Fancy Pants Adventures games. I had trouble landing on some of the platforms. It felt like the hitbox for the rabbit didn't line up with the art.  I also wish the controls had been clearer. I figured out how to move and attack, but at one point I picked up a throwing star and couldn't figure out how to use it. A little tweaking and I think this will be pretty solid :)

Nice simple entry. Keep up the good work! FYI some of the platforming sections were a little difficult because of the tile placement (not enough space to jump through).

Developer

Ok, I will take care of giving more space in the platform areas. Thank you for your comment.

Nice job, the collision felt good and I thought the controls felt responsive.

I think the character blends in a bit too much with the background. I could have also used some controls listed on the page or in game to make it easier to play.

Congrats on submitting to your second game jam!

Thanks for the advice, I will take it into account in my future projects.

Got the basics there,  and a pretty nice design (I like the rabbit character and the spiders and snakes), felt like from a collision point of view with wall floor blocks the rabbit was slightly offset (ie I could stand to the right of a floor tile and not fall... but I could be standing near the left hand side of a floor tile (But on it) and fall off, sort that out and you have a really good base to develop a more ambitious platformers/metroidvanias in the future!

nice job!
