Cool character design! I also liked the art style and the gameplay felt nice also, it's just a shame that it is so short, in the final room area (the cat screen room) it seems that there where more things planned to explore, so it would have been cool to see more of it. I also found a bug when the second time I tried to play the game, when I got to the second save/healing room, the game froze and crashed.
But congrats! What was made looked and felt nice to play.
As a fellow Godot user, I have to ask: why no web build?
I am not sure what the cat did in the final screen, but I liked it :D
The game was relatively short. But you have a nice foundation on which you can continue to work on to make a bigger game.

great to see other people using godot. i noticed that multiple of the same enemy would flash whenever i shot one, specifically i saw it with the ranged enemy. i think to avoid that you have to make the resource that you're animating local to the scene. anyway, the art looked really nice! i'm a big fan of cats too. good work on this.
Great game! The visuals art, from levels to characters, is really well done. I especially like the main characters design.
