This is a very great game.

I have not finished every room yet, but I enjoy playing this game so far.

The visuals are very pretty and cute art style. but the sprite edge seems pixelated is it on purpose?

The game is platformer-metroidvania the control feels very good! well done for the platformer sections.

Some of the puzzles need more visual indication.

for example the lever that needs the player to throw a lance to trigger.

first time I thought I need to dash pass because I just got the dash unlock. maybe making the spike longer than the dash range helps.

The save point should refill some health, especially in the early game when the player doesn't have the heal yet it feels unforgiving because most of the time player will take damage from the environment (or just my skill issue)

It's hard to see where the player is on the map, maybe need to use a bigger player icon.

Overall nice game! looking forward to the future update.

Thanks for the super feedback~ I added it to my notes :D

The visuals I tried to make unique, cuz my initial style got Hollow Knight-clone hate haha.  It is intended~ It is actually 64x64 pixel art units animated in engine (not frame by frame).  I hope it gives it a unique/good look + easier work flow for me.

This is just a whole-ass game.

I didn't find the final fragment.  But I did do the WIP rooms.
My general takeaway is that it's a damn solid Metroidvania, even in it's current state.
I really wanted to finish it, but a bunch of niggles wore me down.

My main issues:

-The map in it's current state isn't very helpful for mopping up towards the end.  I was running in circles a lot trying to figure out what previous dead-end was now accessible,   Plus those doors that just dump you in another room, instead of leading to an unexplored area didn't help

-It needed more shortcuts like the Seed tube connecting the Purple part to the... other part.  Or fast travel or something.  There's a few room insular shortcuts, but they weren't persistent, at least not for me.

-I failed to notice that those doors you need bombs to open needed bombs to open them, since they looked exactly like the gates that needed keys, so I left immediately.

-I'm a big fan of narrowing the field as the remaining collectables dwindle.  Less things to find, in a large space you've already scoured.  Like in inFamous, when you get to the last dozen or so blast shards, it'll start letting you know where they are.  I guess, at least a general indication of which biome the final shard was in would have been nice.

-Maybe the check-points are a bit stingy.

-Using a controller and the analogue stick, I accidentally transformed into the Seed form a bunch of times when I didn't mean to.

That's all I can think of right now.
Still a great game.
Here are the recordings I have up so far:

Still a few to go at some point.

Oh my gosh thanks for the recordings!! I'll study them well, I learn so much seeing someone play with no hand holding.  I'll check them out after work~  If you got almost all the fragments you almost made it to the end of the Demo!(only 20% of the whole game done i think) Thanks for playing so long.  I'll keep improving it for sure, gonna try and finish it by 2026 heh. Thanks again!

Hello,

It's a great game, 5/5, I really enjoyed it. Your game is an example of your good understanding of Metroidvania definition. I managed to do infinite wall jump with the spear, it that intentional? Anyhow the level design is well done and it usually prevents me from going high if I try :)

I wish to see the final version in Steam!

Cheers

PS: please play and rate our game

Thanks for playing!

The infinite spear jump up isn't intentional hehe, but a few players can do it.  So i have tried to make the levels so you can't skip with it~ I even made some tile that the spear can't stick to and i plan on going through and putting them in ares I don't want the player to go :D

I'll check out your game soon for sure!
