Yeah super fun game loop. If there are more enemy types, units, visual variance I can see this being something I would download on the app store and playing on my commute. When units spawn and and kill enemies, I get that dopamine hit.

I played this for like 20 minutes straight damn! Very fun game. Love the art too. Maybe make a menu so that we can stop in the middle EG to drink some water or do something.

I played this for a while and loved so much about it! The parallax scrolling in the background is a gorgeous detail and you nailed the theme really well with the Leonardo Da Vinci Tank machine. There's something funny about renaissance level technology fighting eldrich abominations. I think with some more polish this could make for an excellent tower defence game. Only nitpicks I would have is the button to upgrade the main base didn't really stand out and I didn't take notice of it for a while and it wasn't exactly clear what I was going to be upgrading initially when I clicked it. All in all excellent work!

So far I've had the most fun playing your game jam submission. I love the art in the background. It tells a story, it makes me want more. Where did these monsters come from, what happened on top of the mountain in the background. I struggled at first to notice the build troop buttons, but once I found it I was on a roll. I was able to kill 109 monsters. I remember playing age of war in computer class. It was one of my favorite flash games. With more enemies, troops, and some sound effects you have a super fun game. Great job!

I played this one for a good long while. I killed 190 monsters before multitasking distracted me long enough for them to kill my tower. forgot I was even reviewing games for a minute. enjoyed.
Could use a speed time button or a way to play idly.
I'm probably gonna open this again and see if I can do better.
I know it's just math and a game jam game nothing new is gonna come on the screen. Send help. let me know if there was a game you were inspired by or if you plan on expanding this program.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed playing our game, I actually kind of bumped up the game difficulty right before uploading so I was afraid it would be too hard haha.

Main inspirations were games like "Kingdom: Classic" and the old but gold flash game "Age of War". We definetly wanted to add more unit types and some map objectives you could hold to make the gameplay more interesting, but time constrait forced us to ax our scope (also the code is a massive spaghetti rn haha). Also some sound effects and game feel would go a long way too haha.

As for if I'll be continuing this project, hearing at least one person actually enjoyed it gave me quite a bit motivation haha. So I'll think about it and see if armyjames (he made the enviroment art btw) would be willing to continue working on it too.

Thanks again for your comment.
