Fun animations and menu. While I was playing I wish I could see more of the map, and anticipate what would be coming next, I could see more briefly when I shot but then it zoomed back in. Wish it stuck more to the theme but the concept and character could def be built upon.

Pretty fun game! Love the controls and the concept of the recoil shotgun. Definetely consider a death or mid game menu, along with maybe adjusting the graphics and adding a limitation to adapt for the theme and requirement.

I liked the art and animations. I found the controls on your game's page after I hit every button on my keyboard to try and jump lol. I don't see the theme or requirement used, but I still thought it had potential. I would like the camera to back away from the player some so I can see more of what's around me, and some way of jumping. I liked the slippery movement. Maybe you could make it so the shotgun can propel you up in the air if you shot towards the ground. Good job, and keep on learning!

personally I couldn't figure it out.  found the ammo. but could never get a 4th shot. I think it would benefit from an instruction page and a quick restart button.

Gave this a try and I must say, really enjoyed the movement in this, that is, if it worked. Was completely clueless on how the game worked for several minutes until i figured the little text saying danger/safe indicated if your shotgun gives you a knocback boost or not, which as far as I can tell switches completely on random. My guess is this mechanic was added to satisfy the requirement, but honestly it just ruined the fun, better limiting mechanic would've been the magazine size where reloading would force you to stay still for some time and the requirement could've been satisfied with some narrative thing or something.
All in all after figuring how the mechanic actually worked the game was fun to control, however with extremely sprawling levels and no indication as to where the goal is I was still left confused. With some tweaks and proper level design (and now without the game jam limitations) I can see it being a fun and fluid platformer.

Thanks for giving it a go, it's definitely in a very rough state, it was very clutch getting it ready in time. I'm gonna keep working on it and iterating on it and I'll definitely take your feedback on board, thanks for playing my broken-ass game :')
