Thanks everybody for your thoughtful comments, its me and my 2 friends. one of us does the art, the other music and the third codes. Your game submissions were all fun. We will be taking your feedback into account while we polish our game up and hopefully put out some more updates.
The art was great! Matched the theme and prerequisite too. You could add a restart button because the wait was pretty long for me.
Love the art and the use of classic paintings as the central theme, like others I was a bit confused about the controls and took me a minute to understand the goal of the game. With some quality of life features I think it would bring it all together, things like being able to restart quicker if you missed a piece. I will give props to the feeling of OOMPH you get when a piece gets put into the correct place, very nice player feedback!
I love the way the pieces fit when you get them in! It's so satisfying. The biggest problem for me, though is waiting for the level to reset... especially if I've missed a piece and won't be able to complete it.
I love the art and music. The pixelated renaissance art work is super cool, and it fits really well with the 8bit music. The controls are a little weird. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to match the direction with the way the section is moving with the key, but I was able to spam WASD and get it eventually. I did find that if I just held down all WASD keys it would complete without me having to time it, sorry for cheesing it. Maybe you can add some logic that makes sure you're not just holding a key down and that you actually timed it. I'll definitely come back to check this game out after it gets more artwork and songs! Great job, keep up the good work.
Really cool art, if you made it yourself good job! Anyway the controls were pretty confusing to understand and I had to do several tries to just figure out what does what. Which leads into another issue where missing one component just once pretty much softlocks you and you have to wait for like 40 seconds for the level to reset and try again, would be better if I could instantly restart with a keypress or if the pieces kept floating indefinetly back and forth or until a timer ran out.
Best use of the theme and execution from all of the jam submissions in my opinion!
