Cool visuals ! also check out my game !

idk how to restart the game after dying and some of the platforms were impossible to get to, but i guess making a better algorithm for that would take a while so not too big of an issue, i liked the character controller, overall its decent

Developer

Typing run after lose will restart the game. Thanks for positive feedback.

It's a funny little game, I was a bit confused about when the lava started, and had no clue that the borders would teleport me so that took a while to figure out

Impressive that you learned mini micro for the jam, good stuff

I liked that the player has to write stuff in the console, I don’t think I’ve seen that in a game before :) The controls were quite floaty though and quickly it got a bit boring to be honest :/

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. I will make sure to give controls more polish next time.

Congrats on learning MiniMicro in a weekend! That's awesome! The jumping mechanism felt really nice and I liked the pressure the rising lava created. I think my only note is that sometimes I felt like I ended up in impossible situations, mostly because I couldn't see enough of what was above. Sometimes I had to decide between two platforms at approx the same level and hope that the next platform that showed up was on the side I chose, because I wouldn't be able to cross the entire screen diagonally before the two lower platforms got consumed by lava. But it could also just be a skill issue XD  Regardless, very nice job!

Developer

Oh, yeah, definitely a skill issue—clearly, the game is perfectly balanced😆😁. If the diagonal jump feels too long, you can actually teleport from the left side of the screen to the right and vice versa by reaching the border of the screen. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice Mini Micro game. I found the bouncing into the ceiling to be a double-edged sword; it sometimes let me move to another platform more quickly, but I often found it causing me to die when I misjudged the jump height. Final score 12029.

Developer

Wow, 12029 is truly remarkable! I've never achieved such a high score myself.

Simple game, love the drawing of the man and the jump feels cute somehow

I couldn't manage to open the game to start at least for me a .ms file isn't recognised. Looks fun from the screenshots though

Developer

It was made for MiniMincro. Without MiniMicro Downloaded you cannot run the game. https://miniscript.org/MiniMicro/#download
