Thank you!

Me too, and the worst part is keeping track of all the licenses for the assets you used to make to make sure they allow personal use. I want to keep things as simple as possible 💛

It‘s actually neither funny nor playful. It could have been, if anyone had bothered to communicate what is going on. And most of all, it didn‘t make me think. At least not about revenue sharing, because I don‘t see how that is related to having thumbnails show up in color.

I‘m with you on this. My dashboard also turned grey this morning. I wanted to initiate a payout and I was worried that there was something seriously wrong. I couldn‘t find any information ob what had happened before I found this post, and I fail to see the point since I would never have expected that this could be the reason. Why not just have a message, banner or popup asking people to consider revenue sharing?

Thanks!

Thank you very much! I’m definitely planning to work on this some more and animals are among the things I want to add first, because I love drawing them! :)

Thank you 💛

Omg now I can never unsee that 😂

Thank you for asking about the game! Unfortunately I don‘t have a lot of time to work on the game at the moment because I recently started a new job. I still try to work in it at least a few hours every week, but progress is pretty slow right now 😅

Great game! I love that there were so many options to customize the board!

That’s reallly cool! I refreshed the page several times because it was so satisfying to watch! Thank you for showing me this (and for using my assets of course)! 💛

Thank you very much! I tried to make something that technically still qualifies as pixel art but with a higher resolution :) it’s quite a lot of work, so I’m always happy about positive feedback!

I’m sorry, I’m not sure I understand the question. Do you mean if the entire house can be replaced with lower walls? I don’t think they would line up correctly, but I haven’t tried it. I’m also not sure this would work because the texture of the walls is quite different from that of the houses.

Yes please. Since most of my assets can be used for free, I think mentioning where you got them from is not too much to ask. If you purchased the asset pack it’s not strictly necessary to give credit.

Thanks! I made a new build and uploaded it here too, just to be sure :)

Hey, I asked people on the discord server, they said it works for them as well. They pointed out that you could check if your firmware is 2.5.0, as that could help :)

Hm that’s very strange, it works on my device so I naively thought it would work for everyone else as well. Sorry for your troubles, I hope I can find out what the problem is!

Thank you for letting me know! Can you tell me what went wrong? I just tested it again and it worked for me. I just dragged the downloaded .zip file into the sideload window from my download folder.

Thank you very much! I’m trying to write regular devlogs and I will probably upload a first very small prototype for playtesting soon. I have some ideas in mind how the controls should work, but I’d like to know if it feels intuitive to players before I start building a whole game on top of it :D

Hey, thank you for reaching out, I’m happy you like my assets! Unfortunately my exams are coming up and I won’t have time to work on assets or take on commissions in the near future.

I actually already made some chickens but didn’t have the time to implement them yet!

Thank you for the kind words, I’m really happy you played the game and enjoyed it! And thank you for the feedback too, you make some very good points there! I’m definitely planning to expand on the idea, but I’m not sure how much I can do with the tool I’m using at the moment, so I want to at least try out what I can do with the sdk.

Thank you very much, I’m happy you like it! I know that there is not so much content right now, but I would like to keep working on it. I’m not sure if I will keep making it with pulp or try making it using the sdk once I receive my playdate. If you have suggestions or ideas for the game they would be most appreciated!

Thank you!

Such a cute game! I loved all tje little lava puns in thr dishes and ingredients 💛

Congratulations on winning the jam! I really liked the game 💛

Damn thanks for letting me know! I was sure I normalized the velocity but I just checked and it’s commented out :D No idea why I did that, must have happened at some point when I was playtesting and debugging

Yea I fell I fell into a common trap haha. I’ve heard that from several people so I think I need to work on the balancing.. I wanted to make it more difficult because I thought it was too easy and boring, good thing I didn’t.

(1 edit)

That’s a funny little game, and I love that it has cute funny sheep!

Damn sorry to hear that :/

Thank you! I do have some things in mind that I would like to add, so I will probably release an update soon

Thanks a lot!

Thank you! I’m glad you like it

I liked the animations and controls, it felt really satisfying to run and jump around and fight enemies. There were quite a lot of platformers where you had to escape rising lava in this jam, so it was a really good choice to make the gameplay itself so satisfying! I’m not sure the background music fits the game that well though,

I think the art style and idea of the game have potential, but I couldn’t get past the first level because it just kept reloading the scene whenever I lighted the fire. There seem to be a lot of bugs that would need to be fixed before I can say more

I really liked yow you implemented the tutorial and menu stuff directly into the game! I was a tiny bit disappointed when the game started though, because I thought it would follow the same style. I think you should keep working on this, it’s a cool idea!

I liked that the player has to write stuff in the console, I don’t think I’ve seen that in a game before :) The controls were quite floaty though and quickly it got a bit boring to be honest :/

Cool game! Music and sound were great and fit the game really well, that sword swish is really satisfying! I liked the concept too, but I think it would help if it you made it more obvious that the rocks could be destroyed, like making them flash when being damaged or something
