I like the pixel art and the main puzzle idea for the game. It's a shame you didn't finish it in time.. better luck next time, and I hope you can make it! Also, the main menu and options screen look great! Maybe that's why you didn't have enough time to finish the actual game, haha try focusing on making the actual game first next time it may help to finish the game on time, even if the menu looks a bit ugly :B

Thank you! Actually I made the title screen in around an hour, the rest of the game stopped working because exporting to html doesn't allow for save files, which was essential for the game.

Really liked it for what it is!

The art style is really well done and I can definitely imagine this being a good game with more (working) levels!

I think the art style and idea of the game have potential, but I couldn’t get past the first level because it just kept reloading the scene whenever I lighted the fire. There seem to be a lot of bugs that would need to be fixed before I can say more

Developer

Sorry! Save files don't work with html so the game basically stopped working..

Submitted

Damn sorry to hear that :/

Developer

Don't be! It's my fault for not checking first.  Atleast I know now!

The resetting your data tip worked great to get me to the first level, although it kept resetting me in level 1 :/ I love the concept and the art is very pleasing. (The squares for the fire effect is super retro and I love it stylistically -- super unique.) Congrats on your first game! I'd love to see it finished -- I think the concept is lovely and everything I saw was great. I wish there was more!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, I was storing the level data in a file but I don't think this file system works with html sadly, that's why the other levels kinda just stopped working..

Yea, godot can't access the file system in a web export iirc (I swear I read it on the docs somewhere but I can't find it anymore)

I managed to get one level going where I jump over a barrier and then jump into a camp fire to light it, but that seems to be all I could do as the level seems to reset endlessly. I see some of what you were planning to do, and that you had trouble getting a web version to run properly. Your experience with a second game should be much better.

The ui looks nice but i couldnt play the actual game

Developer

Sorry!

just did the reset data trick, as it says only 1 level, but the concept is actually good, i hope you find what caused the issues :)

Developer

I believed I did actually! However I will not be able to fix it until next week.

Well done on your fast game, the look and feel are great. The game was super buggy, oh well this happens but your presentation was stellar. Good luck with the jam :)
