Cool game, I like that you integrated the time prerequisite into the game as an hourglass instead of just slapping a timer on there (which is what I did :D). Time just dripping down on you while you play really does make a difference! I did struggle with the controls though :)

Well for you the heating up the slime was really creative tbh I played it before voting opened so Ill go rate it now.

Thanks! Yea just having the timer there did seem a bit too boring haha. You also have limited time after it runs out, because the maze falls apart one tile at a time :D

Love the camera work and I really enjoyed how the dripping of the sand turned into a volcano. The player was hard to control especially on some of the small platforms.

Overall really unique idea on the theme requirements!

I'm glad you liked the sand dropping! I appreciate the feedback on the control and will remember that for my next game. Thank you for the comment about the uniqueness.

Hi! I’m amazed how this simple game is quite fun, very unique in how each theme uses it, how could you think of making a game like this!

Thank you for the kind words ChillyField. I was very inspired by watching an hour glass. When the sand falls in an hour glass it slowly makes a dome shape at the bottom resembling a volcano. I am very fortunate to have made that discovery.

I liked how unlike in many other entries, the timer isn’t just a label on the screen but is actually inside the level! My biggest complaint would be that the player character moves way too fast to the point of being really hard to control.

Developer

Yes that was my roommates complaint as well seems that I should listen to him next time. Thanks for the review!

Developer

Hey thanks again for the feedback! I implemented some changes such a slowing down the player and adding some more movement options such as double jumping and coyote time.

Definitely feels more polished and fun now, good job!

The music is amazing. I also like the way the camera zooms into the level at the beginning.

Developer

I'm glad you like the music and the zoom! The zoom felt needed to show the full hour glass
