two game play style within a single is genius :D
Looks really polished, the graphics, the music and audio fit well together. But for me it was too repetitious. Now, I also made an endless runner, so it may sound ironic. But I think one of the key differences is that here, you cannot die. You don't face consequences for messing up. You just get realigned onto the track and the story goes on. So at some point, I just pressed the forward key constantly and tried to jump wherever I could, hoping I would get out of the bosses way. But there was no thrill in it, like "I need to focus on aiming correctly", it was more like a brute force attack on your game controls lol This should not be offensive, I really mean it in a constructive way and hope you can take something from it. If that one detail was changed, the game would easily be one of the best games in this contest IMO :)
i get what you meant, the intention is that you should start skipping the tracks section to reach the star thing as fast possiblel, the story explains that the purple dude tried to stall you and keep you stuck in the dream so the poison works, which i sould have made some sort of timer about it to emphasis the urgency.
Originally i removed the lose condition which was a basic hearts system because it gets annoying to replay over minor mistakes so i opted to just make you go faster and faster so its hard to stay on the track with the higher speed.

only complaint was that the 1st segments of the game, felt like it dragged on for too long
This is a really fun game! The controls are amazing and the presentation is gorgeous. The boss fight was a bit challenging and felt a bit too long, maybe I'm just bad though lol. Overall I enjoyed it :)
You should have been skipping track parts by the time you reached the boss since it starts to drag out, it was intentional so you can learn to do that and not get bored XD
Extremely well made! The controls feel great and the gameplay is amazing. Skipping parts of the course by flying across the map is cool. The story is pretty good but I feel like it could be delivered a bit better. towards the middle of the run a lot of stuff going on, the dialogue becomes a bit hard to read. Overall had a really great time. Looking forward to what's next!
