Liked the game. Very nice art! But don't really see any use case for the scan ability (maybe add something if you expand on the idea?) Also didn't immediately get that you can double jump

Developer

Thanks for playing bro! Yeah we wanted to use more for the scan but focused more on the actual boss fight... Maybe in an update we'll make the scan double as an attack? Thanks for feedback!

Very nice color palette and style. I liked the simplicity of the game. Thank you for your game, and I hope for your mutual appreciation!

Thanks for playing! Checking your game out rn

really solid game, nice and simple ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
im not sure if 'scan' has any other uses beside the one from the start.
some suggestions for polish would be:

  • adding a way to skip the intro
  • only jump when pressing the a button and not holding it, since it can feel awkward at times
  • increase the range, or the visuals of the range of your attacks, since attacks either dont register or I end up sticking way to close to an enemy just to hit them
Developer

Thanks for playing! We were planning on using the scan for more, but we'll have to save these ideas for later! Skipping the tutorial would be a good call for a real game... Thanks for the feedback bro

Great presentation. The art and specially the pallete of colors is great. I would recommend to include AWSD for movement also.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! Although we didn't put it in the description WASD should work for movement as well! We'll be sure to make that clearer next time :)
