I love the look of the game! I think the stage randomization needs some work though. Sometimes nothing appears until the timer is out, other times the wall is filled with spikes by 10 hops. I didn't feel like I was getting higher scores by getting better so much as by getting luckier. That's kind of a minor tweak though - overall great entry :)
It was super fun to play this game!! Sometimes the timer would reach 0 and nothing happened, also the bugs and spikes would take a lot of time to appear (sometimes even after the timer reached 0). Besides that, I could play this for hours!!
Very cute game! I liked how the objective was to bounce off the walls. I found myself dying really frequently, it might have been nice to allow the player to control their horizontal speed and only had them hard lose the game if they touched the vertical or spikes but lose time if they hit the horizontal spikes (and lose the ability to jump if they ran out of time). Great work!
score: 34! I definitely played several times to see if I could do better haha. I enjoyed the music and simplicity of the game. One question - does the timer do anything? The last couple times I played it reached 0 and I could still continue. Also I got to around 30 points before the first bug and spikes showed up. The first times I played it they showed up immediately but the longer I played it the rarer they spawned!
Simple but fun and challenging! I just missed sound effects (jumps, bumps, fails) to make it more juicy. Also, I would make the transition from game over to real play much faster.
