What a neat game! I included it in my Mini Jam 107 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
I loved the music, the notes synchronization with it and, of course, the duck's quacking! The art was super cute too. Great job!
This was pretty fun to play, and the duck, of course, is a big plus.
Some notes: It felt like the notes' placements weren't entirely synced with the music, such that the quacking wasn't on the rhythm entirely (though that might just be an FPS problem on my side). And, as others have mentioned, a penalty for quacking with no note is a must for a rhythm sort of game like this one.
Overall, it was cool. Well done!
nice art
Thank you!
Didn't notice the volume slider at first -glad i found it though because the duck sound effects in this are epic!! xD this was really fun and polished -loved the pixel art too! Awesome job on this! :D
thank you, it's really the volume is not intuitive at the beginning.
I also failed a couple times to get the timing right, but you've got a duck so it's alright in my book.
Great game, who needs the untitled goose game when you have the almighty Duck. its quackers! XD sorry had to lol.
thank you, lmao 🤣
I love the idea for this game it made me so happy. It felt like there was a tiny delay between hitting z and the duck quacking which threw me off a bit but otherwise I think you did a fantastic job!
Thanks for the feedback, there really is a delay in hitting z, I had a little trouble fixing this
Quack!
It seems that the game resets the sound level after game over, that was a bit surprising the second time around because i almost could not hear anything.
I agree with Breakfish that it needs a penalty for trying but failing to catch a note.
Thank you for your feedback
I like the art but couldn't hear any music. the idea is well executed. the one issue i saw was without any penalty for pressing Z at the wrong time it is possible to just rapidly click through.
than you for the feedback, you probably didn't see the volume control at the start screen, I'll make it more intuitive, and thanks for the suggestion, there really is no penalty for making a mistake when pressing Z.
I'll have another play to hear the song, thanks for letting me know.
What a lovely game, I can't wait for your next projects!
