Use of the limitation
When the scuttlers sleep, they are unaffected by gravity.
Cookies eaten
Well, I had the chance to eat a few, but I chose the cake instead. That was a mistake.

Love the art! I included it in my Mini Jam 107 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
The visuals look simple, but are very effective. And the little detail of the eyes following the mouse makes it even better.
What i missed are some instructions. I died quite a few times without any points whatsoever because i could not figure out how to vanish the scuttlers. Even then, i had a hard time because they come a me a tad too fast—or maybe its me who is slow.
Very good choice on the music, too.
All in all, a solid entry.
A simple and relaxing game, the visuals and music have such a good vibe that I really enjoyed it while facing the enemies.
I was impressed by the graphics, the drawings are very beautiful and the character even looks in the direction of the mouse :D
Great job!
I'm glad you noticed the eyes that follow the mouse. I spent at least half the jam on that lol
Haha, I still can't imagine how you managed to do that, nice work!
Cute art and music. I cant seem to move mouse down to hit below me.
Thank you for the feedback. This is a known glitch that I am working on fixing. In the meantime, if you'd like to play again, shaking the mouse around really fast generally fixes that problem for some reason.
Just replayed it a 2nd time mouse worked after shaking. I would recommend having the enemies come at you slower and possibly a indication of what direction they are coming from.
