Unique use of the limitation, I like it!
The game feels very natural to control and the character is pretty charming, not to mention the effects (the stretch, the color fading as you age, etc). The visuals are simple but great. And I LOVE the jump SFX haha.
It's great that you're put on a safe spot to play with the controls before you enter the levels and have a time limit.
As it is, I found it pretty easy and straightforward, but I can absolutely see how this could be expanded and have lots of different challenges with different gimmicks and all. Good job!
Interesting approach to the limitation. Really puts the you are your own enemy into perspective as this is something that happens to us in real life as well. Great work! Loved the sound effects and gameplay.
This is a very unique take on the limitation, I really like the game! More levels soon pls ?
i really liked the animations and all the little details like the screen grey-ing out as you reach the end of your life. really good game overall, i just wish there were more levels!
I like the game, and I really like the retro graphics. I feel like the aging concept could be made more complex if you felt like expanding, right now it feels like time is the enemy, not you. Fun game!
A really clever mechanic, executed very well! This feels pretty polished, and it's fun to play.
The aging mechanic is essentially a timer, but I think it's an interesting concept that could be pushed a bit further. E.g. maybe having it go a bit slower, and then having the older character be able to do different things than the younger one, allowing you to solve different parts of the level at different times?
Also, with a game this fast-paced, it feels like the controls/platforms could be a bit more generous (e.g. some coyote time). One of the levels had me bump my head into the ceiling or not jump far enough over and over.
Overall, a nice game!
The character's sprite is very neat! The particles when dodging and the squishing when jumping makes it feel more alive!
I'm not sure if your age affects your movement? I couldn't really tell, but if it does, it's a neat way to differentiate it from just being a regular timer.
