Use of the limitation
we were going to have even the bullets collide with themselves, so they can die as they travel, or have mobs kill them based on hp. We are not very experienced and ran out of time so we made it just enemies, mobs, items, players can die.

The browser version does this game a huge disservice. Nice game, I do think it needs more work, but a lot of the foundations are there.
Hope to see more from this team soon.

So, at first I tried to play it in my browser but the aspect ratio seems to be incorrect for that method though, so there was both cut of text for the instructions and off-screen enemies in the later rooms which stopped progression. – I managed to get it downloaded and had a go though!

It was quite fun to play! The power progression feels nice as you play, not too quick or too slow. The art style you’ve gone for is really cute, and I quite enjoyed the visuals and audio together, they fit well.

I think some user interface indicators to keep track of income and health would be a great addition, alongside some more variety if you choose to develop the game further.

Overall, it was a fun experience, your team did great for the timeframe of the jam!

Appreciate all the feedback given, glad you enjoyed it! :)

In the room with the second enemy, and two off-screen turrets, I was unable to advance to the next room.  The instructions on how to play were also cut-off.

EDIT: I just realized that in the downloaded version the field of view is proper.  I think the game has potential; it just needs some animations, UI to tell you your health and money, and some sound balancing.

haha thank you! Yes the UI was something we overlooked and ran out of time, appreciate the feedback! :)

This game is extremely fun, seeing your characters power slowly increase, going from being afraid of every encounter to eventually just ploughing through bosses left and right is a really satisfying progression arc. The art looks good and the HoYo is a great touch. Good job!

Fun game :D Apparently I love Isaac too much, so I liked it, I finished the game right up to the point that I started killing bosses with one hit and the speed of my character was so high that I could pass through the walls. I liked this game, the only thing missing is fixing the sounds (too much volume when shooting all the enemies at once), animations, and adding more variety.

Thank you, Binding of Isaac was an inspiration! Appreciate the feedback, just was pressed on time but we will do better next time :)
