that was a funny adventure.

As others have said jumping feels weird, the calls were really charming!

Good job

Developer(+1)

Hopefully we tweaked it a bit but definitely the next Game Jam we have an Idea for a new jumping system if we decide to do the platformer genre again from looking at other peoples games.

The gravity feels like its too strong, other than that its a fun little climbing adventure!

Developer

Fixed! It was a bug where it would reset to old values after dying

I think this has a really interesting concept! I liked the theming of climbing the tower and the minigame where you had to press in time with the electric current. There were a few visual hiccups like the minigame being really small compared to the game window and the character falling down really fast when you jumped to the next platform. Overall I think y'all did a great job!

Thank you so much, you're too kind <3

I just realized the gravity being too strong was a bug ahha, so that's fixed now c:

Thank you again!

Platform jumping makes me cry...

I am the creator and I think I did a good job

I loved the art and the sound track of the game. However, the jump was hard a little bit wierd and the mini game a little bit confusing. The story was good also.

Developer

Thank you :)

We couldn't give the minigame all the time it deserved, but thanks for your input on the jump!

I like the spritework and music.

I think you should look into what makes a good jump. A platformer game really needs good controls.

I found that you can also go through the dialogue by pressing WASD, but this doesn't actually advance the cutscene, so when you reach the end, you have to press E a bunch of times to catch up. The first time, I thought I had softlocked the game and refreshed the page.

I didn't like the timing minigame. I think you should give the player more feedback, because I didn't really get what I was doing wrong. I also found that trying it again after failing once completely broke the minigame giving me a free pass.

The font was kind of hard to read.

I liked the story. Plot tends to be low priority in short jams like this, so it's nice to see.

Developer

Thanks, I think we were overly ambitious with the minigame and it didn't get quite enough love haha.

Thanks for the tips :)

It´s a cute game, I especially liked the phone cutscenes. I do have to say though, the movement is rather hard to get used to with really high gravity, making jumps very difficult.

Developer(+1)

Thanks :)

The gravity is definitely a common complaint xd
