Nice minimalist pixel art.
Took me some time to realize that the boxes on the ground kill us even if we stomp on them. Replace it with spikes would be a nice danger indicator. Also, putting something to warn the players that the shot is coming would help to avoid some unfair situations.
PS: Loved the narrator voice (it's yours?). Very dramatic haha

Nice cutscene at the beginning. The game visuals have been pretty nice. Simple but polished endless runner. When i put it in fullscreen the cat army and the floor didn't connect anymore to the end of the screen (should be an easy fix though). Sometimes some jumps have seemed a bit unfair because of the timing of the shot coming out of the cat army.

Thanks. To answer your question I used a website called beepbox. Its quite easy to use so mostly I just experiment to make something.

Incredible world building in the intro :) The game itself could use some balancing, it's IMO mostly too easy but then there are some unfair situation where you just can't make the jump without being hit. Presentation is neat!
Thanks. I did notice the difficulty of some jumps, unfortunately, I couldn't fix it before submission though.
