When I saw "hard" on the title I gota little scared, but the game it's actually quite easy considering other submissions on the jam, mainly because the very responsive controls. Good work.
The puzzles were good, at least until I reach the infamous level 8 (unfortunately, I couldn't beat it).
Finally, nice work with pixel art.
game was as you said in brackets hard took me a wile to even get past lvl 8 I guess is what it was from what some other people are saying on here kept falling into spikes after hitting the switch on the roof didn't get much further then that though. Good hard game if I wasn't trying to rate as many games as possible at the moment I would most likely have kept going till I beat it.
This is a difficult but rather addictive game. I love the visuals and the overall feel of the game, and the platform puzzles are quite good. Out of curiosity, how many levels are there? I think I got far but one of the levels was absolutely wrecking me (the one with multiple platforms to climb which then were deactivated by a switch on the ceiling).
Great job!
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you found it enjoyable. Yeah, you got pretty far. There are 11 Levels (12 with the end screen) and you were at level 8. I already got some feedback of level 8 being a bit too hard, so I will redesign it in the next version of the game.
Wow it was quite tough, good and interesting level design. I'm a sucker for wall-kicking off walls and this had tons of it!
Thanks for the review. Platformers do sometimes feel a bit weird when played on a keyboard (there is controller support). I'm glad you still liked the level design.
very cute and fun platformer. Really like the art and how and jump animation haha
Thanks
Beat it! A very fun game, controls well, and you created a variety of interesting challenges. Nice that there are the coins for people who want an extra challenge. I also love the cute and simple graphics. I just wish there was some music. As for the controls, it would be nice if I could slide down walls, e.g. by pressing the down arrow. Great job!

Nice that you did complete it. I'm glad you liked the graphics and controls. Normally i have problems with implementing both. I will implement music once the jam has ended. It feels a bit awkward without it. Thanks for the feedback!
I LOVE IT, the game is fun and i love a good challange. For the short time the creator had it is amazing how much love Noji put into this. He can be really proud of himself and i am proud of him to
Simple idea, an enjoyable and difficult platformer game.
A reset level button would have helped with the flow of the game
(to avoid backtracking when you fail).
I liked that there was the extra collectable for an extra challange in each level.
Thanks for playing! That was exactly why i implemented collectables. To give players who want an even bigger challenge (if the feel like it). Yeah, a reset button should be required for a game like that. Will add once the jam has ended.
Awesome job! Difficult but fun!
Thanks! Glad, you enjoyed.
Fun arcade style gameplay+sfxs. Would like it if there was some background music. Love the ability to wall slide/jump. Cute artstyle.
Thanks for playing! Didn't have enough time to implement background music that wouldn't become annoying because it loops every 10 seconds so i left it. I will though try to come up with something once the jam has ended.
Hi, am doing feedback in video form cause it fun.
Much thanks for recording your walk-through and giving really useful feedback! It really did help to see how you played my game, in order to get a better feeling of what other players might go through when playing. Also thanks for your patience (seriously). The game was really inspired by games like The world hardest game and Celeste.
There actually is coyote-time but I can tweak the length of the timer. The acceleration and deceleration are both probably too long. I will change them so that they feel more like Celeste's. There the acceleration/deceleration is pretty fast which allows you to make very precise jumps.
A coin and level counter are pretty good suggestions and I will add them after the jam has ended. I actually thought of making the doors tick during the jam, but there wasn't that much time so I put that very far behind on my to-do list (will add a line below the door). Didn't notice the softlock in level 5 should be an easy fix though. The ironic thing is that I think something similar appeared in the same level while I designed it.
The title is truly undescriptive. I was aware of that but thought it was kind of funny. Might rename it to something else ("CATch the fish" or my "CatFish" or something like that). The cat does look a tiny bit like Garfield, maybe the stripe on its back was subconsciously influenced by him.
The brutal level 8
I didn't realize that it was that hard (because I made the game). So I didn't think you would need to practice the right part. I will probably just move the first doors closer to the fish and put the entrance to the coin directly under the fish. Then I would just need to make the timer a bit longer and the level would be a lot fairer. Thanks for pointing that out. I got to admit, the difficulty curve is really nonexistent. That was because I wanted to introduce the player to a few mechanics at the beginning and then design hard levels with these. Maybe I will introduce the spikes a bit earlier and then make a few more levels with the first few mechanics of the game. So it should feel like the game gets progressively harder and doesn't just throw random rooms at you.
BTW what do you mean by a speedrun category called "X-Frames"? It is at "32:55" in the Video.
I really thank you for playing my game and I'm glad that you enjoyed it!
Oh the X-Frames thing was me just thinking like, that would be a funny name for a speed run game show.
Like instead of X-Games, its X-Frames haha, dont mind it.
Really fun entry!
A cute little arcadey platformer. I thought the visual style was very well defined, as at a glance it was pretty easy to pick up on what certain objects would do, where you could walk, and what you need to do to complete the level. It did feel a tad generic, but still well executed for that type of game
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, its a tad unoriginal (hope the level design makes up for it).
It certainly did - my bad for forgetting to mention that in the original comment - I think you did a really good job creating such varied levels! Im looking forward to seeing what type of games you might create in future jams if you decide to focus a bit more on creative design, as your technical skills are really evident :)
The game was really cool and fun although next time you should use WASD for movement since arrow keys are a pain to use on 60% keyboards.
Good job!
Good feedback and good subjection. It didn't even come to my mind to add WASD since I've gotten used to play on the arrow keys. I will add support for hit once the jam has ended.
Very good and challenging platformer.
Thanks!
Indeed quite hard :) A reset level button would be neat, it's a bit frustrating having to backtrack to the button every time.
Thanks! A reset button is definitely something i will be working on once the jam has ended.

Very difficult, love the mechanics and how they feel though
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.
Purrfect game, it is quiet difficult!
Thanks! It is indeed (difficult).
