It took me a moment to figure out the mechanics but this is super impressive for just a couple of hours! Theres a lot of attention to detail with the afterimage effect of the dash, the SFX,and the springy play button. Id be interested in seeing what you could do with the whole three days :)
thanks, this was my first game in a few months, I’ve been generally unmotivated (and I’m AHDH) so finishing a game has helped me actually make more, now, this game, I started on Friday night, coded for around an hour, then when the deadline had 3 hours, I started going into crunch mode to finish the game lol
Cute game! I wish it had some more polish, but considering you did it in the last 3h it's a neat entry nontheless. The dash feels satisfying, although unfortunately it bugs out at times and damages the player when dashing into a cat.
yeah, I created a variable called dash and it’s only supposed to hit if it’s set to no and so I think I messed sum up

Interesting, i like the dash mechanic, but i didnt really know how to play?
Description says to wrap them in yarn, how do i do that? i moved around, nothing happened, they touched me and i lost health?
Also i believe the cat was flipped on the wrong way - it faces the opposite way to where it moves.
