Nice game idea. although I find it hard to complete level 5, but the idea and concept itself is pretty good.

Some of those platforms zip around real fast, tough for my old and slow reflexes.

Great game! I'm really curious how you went about creating the curves, is that something baked into Unity or was that custom? I admire that you challenged yourself to learn through this project, it seems like it was extremely successful in that regard!

Developer

i watched a tutorial for the curves. its easier than thought. i have a screenshot of the editor in unity. you interpolate between 2 points to create a linear motion( a line) and then interpolate from the last point to another to create another line.  when you now interpolate between those 2 lines you get a curve. in the tutorial i heard " Lerp untill you run out of things to lerp " :D

Really good core idea. You should expand on that and do a full game ^^ GG

to bad you were unable to finish all the levels but what you had was easy enough to beat only died once because I speed up instead of slowed down bad on me. Good job on your game

I like the idea and originality, but I think there needs to be more of a puzzle or skill element, especially since the obstacles are quite easy to dodge.

Original game, it fits perfectly in the limitation ! A bit difficult or random, but with some more time and adjustments it could lead to a cool mini-game :)

It is very satisfying to look at this line and curves. But like Dairygold I am also had luck. First three level I am only press W. I like concept of this game :) I don't see limitation, but it is nice to know you learned something new.

Developer

thank you for playing! yes its easy to get through in the first three level. the 4 is a little bit longer and not that easy.  i see why this takes the fun or the challenge away but i think if the levels all were longer than it would be more of a challenge because then its not luck based anymore

I really like the combination of controlled and controllable movement!

Developer

thanks, im glad you like the controls :)

Maybe I just got lucky, but I managed to beat all 4 levels simply by holding 'w.' Felt like I didn't need to do much to impact the gameplay. I like the concept, and could see this being a fun puzzle game if it were built out more. Not sure how it fits the limitation, but enjoyed the concept even if it left me wanting more of a challenge.

im glad you enjoyed the concept. I guess you were a little lucky with just holding W and getting through but your right that in some cases you dont need to do much to impact the game but thats because the levels are very short which was due to the time limitation. and with the game jam limitation i did not overthink  :D you can only go one direction which is mostly up.

Nice concept! doesnt really fit the limitation, but good work, i managed to complete the first 4 levels :)

Developer

thank you :) i see what you mean but i really did not think too much for the game limitation. you go one direction (mostly up) and cant stop or go back :)
