Use of the limitation
A vortex drains the player's health. To restore health, the player has to climb blocks and gain altitude => The only way to go is up if you want to survive.

This was great! Submitting a 3D game like this, especially one involving so much randomness, is always impressive in a game jam. The movement can feel a little stiff sometimes, but I'm nitpicking. Overall it's a very good submission, and I always love a good double jump in 3D platformers. This is something to be proud of.

I liked this game. It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Those rotating blocks can be so tricky! Good job on finishing a 3d game in such a short time. Very impressive!

Underrated submission. Fun, well implemented, and looks great. I didn't know about UPBGE until now, pretty sweet

Thank you! I also think UPBGE is pretty underrated but it is definately one of my favorite engines. I definately  can recommend it when it comes to creating games in a short amount of time.

I so wish there as a ledge grab on this one so many times I was almost able to make a jump lol. Took a few tries to get the hang of where I was going to land but neat game and well done 2d graphics for a 3 day jam.

I'm currently working on an update to include a ledge grab mechanic, since it's a pretty good idea.
I think it's just pretty hard to balance since the way I'm testing it atm  I think it makes the game too easy.

Would love to hear your opinion on it again once I'm  finished.

yeah could see it making it to easy. Just can't win got to love balancing a game difficulty I still struggle with that my self.
