Use of the limitation
As you progress through the game, previously available levels become inaccessible. Meaning that the game becomes less and less permanent as you play it.

Cookies eaten
No cookies for me. Water and Thanksgiving leftovers were mainly what kept me going.

I find the idea and its implementation very cool.

One minor thing though: Not every keyboard layout has 'Z' besides 'X'. For example, I have a German Keyboard, which has a QWERTZ layout, instead of QWERTY. This made it a little more different to play for me.

Glad you liked the game!
Different keyboards were not something that I considered. I'll keep that in mind for the future.

Once I understood the controls it was really fun to play. Good job, but maybe some more instructions on the scrollbar grabbing would be nice.

Developer

Tried to implement the scroll bar mechanic in such a way that it would be intuitive to understand at first, but I do think that it could've been more clear. Thanks for playing!

I love the concept and retro style of it. I did find the platforming controls to be a bit rigid, but it was super fun to wander around the computer. If you keep working on this one, I would love to see you be able to open the programs and read the files or do different things by opening different programs. Great work!

Thank you! I definitely had a few ideas that I was hoping to implement but didn't get to. Post-jam updates sound like a good idea.
