Great job for your first entry! Visuals are very good, sound design too; I really liked the atmosphere, and the overall idea behind it, though I didn't manage to finish the game.

I didn't quite get what the cameras are for. They almost always show only a small snippet near an edge (pic), and my brain just doesn't connect what's on the monitor with where it's supposed to be around the sub. Also, there may be a bug with the sonar? At one point it just stops responding to spacebar, despite being 'good'.

Woah the camera bug is weird. There is supposed to be a light for the cameras as well so you can actually see through them. It actually looks fine for me and you are the only person to mention this. I know light sources can be like an optimization issue so like maybe Godot has thing to automatically turn them off based on the performance of your pc?? That's my best guess. Thanks for the feedback though im actually interested in what could cause this cause im not completely sure right now.

Also, yeah the sonar is on me. Since i already know the map i barely used the sonar so I basically didn't notice the bug until the end of development and ran out of time to fix it.

This is what its supposed to look like btw

Didn't make it cause I died three time in the very spiky downward tunnel, kept confusing R and E from time to time but overall great experience, a little stressfull as I felt nowhere near the end despite the timer being under 100s each time I died

Great game!

Yeah lol I don't blame you for not finishing. Half way through development I realize I was getting scarily close to making a "rage game" so I ended up making it easier and even then its still pretty hard, even I struggle still. Thanks for playing though!

That was very tense, required precise inputs and quick movement to make it on time. But the controls were tight, maps creepy and sound design great. All the time I was checking cameras if something isn’t lurking in the depths :s Loved it.

I was planning on having some sort of monster or threat like that for the game but ran out of time. I'm glad you liked it though thanks for playing!

That’s a classic Lovecraftian horror - scary is not what you see, but what you cannot. What might be lurking there.

The controls are in the game page btw
