wow this is surprisingly complex for a jam game, very cool! i only wish there was a tutorial
Complex concept but very interesting, good work!
I love seeing games where devs craft an intro scene.
I feel like I didn't get the most out of the game simply because I didn't understand everything. A tutorial in a few steps would be welcome; there's a lot to dig into, and I'd like to be helped a bit at first. The game seems to have potential; I find it very original.
Small bug report: when you zoom out and move the map, the music lags.
Please come rate our game My Dear Humans, we also made the choice of strategy in some way
The game was fun, I built two walls around the tree, but it only stopped the flood by a little. The horror when watching my creation get taken by water :) Although I agree with others, that some kind of tutorial would be helpful. It's not clear whether one should dig around the tree so water goes in the hole, or build walls so that waves stop at them, how does each option actually impact the water levels
Nice job! I really liked the personality of the game, thought the intro scene and art and music worked together really well. I was confused on how to play - I think a short tutorial or pause/info screen could be super useful to the player.
I really like the concept and style of this game, however I'm a little confused on how the game actually works. I can't raise the tree any higher than it started and moving dirt to block the water doesn't really seem to have any effect. Also, I think being able to select multiple tiles by clicking and dragging would make managing the robots a little less tedious. Overall I really like the idea I just think the game needs to give the player a little bit more feedback or guidance so they know if what they're doing is working. :)
