I like how you interpreted the theme here, and the gameplay and artwork are well done! Progression mechanics are always really fun. Although, the itch app wasn't able to understand the executables on their own so I had to download it from the web. I got that "cannot read 'build' property of undefined" error: I believe this often happens when the uploaded files aren't set to their respective platforms.
Either way, nice work! And I love the visual style: reminds me of old flash games.
Hello! I liked your game a lot! It reminded me of one of the flash games I played back then. You did a good job with the progression since it felt satisfying every time I got upgrades for the drill. I have to ask if there is a bottom since the lowest I was able to get to was ~8500 and I couldn't really get deeper than that (I lack the skillz). Overall, I enjoyed your game a lot! Thank you for your hard work and I hope you had a lot of fun making the game!
There is no bottom! we wanted to include more varied dirt and things to mine, as well as a full ending but ran out of time. if we update it I think we'll put that in though. thanks for playing! :)
I liked the satire on corporations and the art direction! I also like the progression – feels super satisfying to be able to drill faster and faster, and also that you eventually stop seeing coal blocks so your run has a limit. It did take me a moment to see the “press space to start” on the top right corner before my first run.
Great game! Art is really nice, really fun. Only issue I had is with the camera when I shot my drill, it would fall behind quite a bit for some reason
