Use of the limitation
The story for my game is that Earth is rapidly cooling down and freezing over, hence the user has to seek refuge in the Earth's core. As a result, all green found in the game assets was replaced with an icy-blue color to reflect the loss of vegetation and life on Earth.

Note: I have just updated the version of the game to version 1.1, which addresses some of the issues mentioned by the comments below (fast frost, too much slowdown, etc.). For more detail, check the patch notes on the game page.
Awsome art! cool game loved it
Cool art and fun game!
Fun game with a fun concept ! It reminds me of Frostpunk ^^ Maybe a bit too punitive but fun nonetheless. Congrats for your entry !
The frost is coming fast! It's not easy! I really like the idea of having to manage your heat as you go down, and the possibility of upgrading your equipment to gain speed.
If you could try and rate my game, I'd be grateful!
The game it's fun to play. I wish there was an indicator of where the snow is. Great sound effects and sprites.
Really love your concept! Super creative and best use of the limitation I've seen so far. I had a lot of fun with the game. I thought it was pretty hard to catch up once the frost came down though - I was fighting something and wasn't able to recover after that, and it didn't feel like it was my "fault" so i felt a bit doomed while playing. Awesome work!
Thank you for your feedback, I am glad that you enjoyed the game! Regarding the frost, I have noticed after your and other people's comments that the speed is a bit too high and makes the game nearly impossible with the slow-down effect due to heat loss. I plan on fixing this issue and balancing other aspects of the game in future updates.
Frost comes to fast, but looks nice everything
A game that marries the design of Terraria with the frantic race-to-the-bottom style of Mr. Driller. A pretty compelling concept, but I feel like the player slowing down as they get colder really stifles what this game could have been - since the second the cold actually reaches you, the game's already over, and there's no point in going on, even though you technically can keep digging.
Minecraft Player PTSD simulator: Dig from below
Nice for a solo dev.
Feels like the only strategy is to dig straight down as you have no idea how close is the frost to you.
It feels like a mobile game I could play on a train ride. While I'm playing, I don't have time to dig to the sides because the frost is too fast to catch up and the game loop repeats after 2 or 3 minutes. But I enjoyed it nonetheless ^^
