It's such a cool game. It's really well done! the only thing I had a problem I had with it was I kept getting confused with it being so black that I thought the dust on my monitor on my screen were stars. which i would think could be a cool addition to help keep players more orientated. really enjoyed it, though and the cool collision animations

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! There actually are stars in the game, but in trying to make them not obtrusive for the player I think I may have made them so small that they don't show up well at all, especially in the web version. There was also a problem when we built the game that caused the background to be very zoomed in on the web version, which in turn made it much darker than it should be. Once jam voting is complete I'll see if I can upload a version that has the bg fixed for web and maybe some new stars that are larger and help orient the player a little better. Thank you for the feedback, and for playing the game!

Good art and mechanics, I would like the camera to be further away so that you can always see where to aim

Thank you! I can definitely see the zoom being a problem, especially in the later levels where planets are spaced farther away. The dynamic zooming was intended to help with this as it backs out the further you remain in a state (either flying straight or tethered to a planet) but I think we a) didn't explain that mechanic well and b) maybe erred on the side of keeping the camera a little too close to the player. I'll play with those values and upload a more forgiving zoom once the jam voting is complete. Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it!

I'm glad you were able to get it to work and even more glad that you liked it! I'll take a look at the download tomorrow and see if there may be some issue with it. Thanks for letting me know!

Great mechanics, can really get in the zone hopping from planet to planet if you time it right. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you! We put a lot of focus into getting the "feel" of the movement and camera to make it feel good to move between planets!

Well designed and fun! Some of these levels get really hard!

Developer

Thanks! This was our first jam, so we're pretty excited with how far along we got. We only wound up having 7 levels, so the difficulty ramped up pretty quickly between them. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
