It's not exactly like a game.

It's a bit opaque and not that fun. But thanks for sharing the game and congrats for finnishing on time!

I'm guessing all I do is just destroy those cell thingies? I didn't even know I was moving at the beginning since the bg is a flat colour so you can't tell if you're moving in relation to other objects.

Good little game. I’d love to see more enemy types and some environmental features (for example, in the game Spore, there were floating shells that got in the way). And I’ll repeat what others have said—having a controls description or a small tutorial at the start would be really helpful!

Hi, I tried playing your game, and I have to say that it’s quite unclear. There are no explanations, very little written guidance, and no language options, which is usually a standard feature. I don’t really understand how I’m supposed to play or what my goal is.

Maybe the concept is good—I’m not sure. But the way it’s presented is absolutely terrible. Try adding some kind of menu with instructions on how to play and what the objective is, because right now, I don’t fully understand the purpose of the game.

Nice work

The best part about the game is the soundtrack. The gamemplay is too simple. You could make the game shorter to make it end quicker or/and you add more types of cells to make it more interesting.

Interesting concept! Either the camera was too zoomed in, or the level needs more landmarks to help the player navigate—I kept getting lost on my way to gobble up all the energy. Thanks for making and sharing your game.

Pros:
Great interpretation of the theme and limitation!
I enjoyed playing a round from beginning to end.

General Feedback:
I think the particle effect would have looked better under the cell than on top.
I didn't know about dashing until about one and a half minutes in; a quick prompt for controls would have served well.

Overall, it's a solid entry; keep it up!

If you have a moment, please give our entry a try as well! https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-179-energy/rate/3368853
