This is a really fun game and concept! You put a lot of guns in the game, and this was brilliant!

Developer

Thanks! glad you enjoyed it. I spent waaaay too much time with the weapon system, but since I ended up recycling it for the enemies ended up working well.

This was really fun. The game has so much charm, and Its general concept is enough for me to play it. The dual wielding mechanic is amazing, I really felt like a cow boy spirit.

Finally got a chance to sit down and play properly. I love the style and the updated thumbnail is very nice! the controls we're intuitive enough (though i preffered just left clicking to fire) The enemies variety was nice however some of them didnt move. The weapon picks up was a nice touch and the shotgun was my favourite weapon to use :D great job!

Developer

Great!!

Each enemy patrols at different rates, to give an artificial sense of variety.

This had a great flow to it with the combat style, just being able to grab weapons like that!!

Good job with the theme respect too, spirits(ghosts) and spirits distilled whiskey!!

Old West theme is really cool!! I played live on stream, I'd be happy to play it live again as well if you would like to drop by my channel sometime on Twitch!!

Developer

Hey, thanks a lot for all the encouraging feedback, super glad you enjoyed it!

I will check your gameplay tomorrow!

Thanks again!

I liked how the combat is done ... I liked the weapons system, how he gets a second pistol (but I was confused by the second click) ... art was incredible, congratulations bro !!

The Western/Ghost-ey tune is really good. And I love how you twist the theme into spirit and spirit. :)) Also, I like how grabbing pistol when player already have one pistol will give them 2 pistols. There's something "very cowboy" about it. I dunno. Maybe it's just me. :))

Great job, btw! :D

Developer

Thanks! very happy you enjoyed it. I wasnt sure if the whiskey as spirit was clear enough.

The art was really great on this one! Loved the environment and the UI art. Controls felt a bit sluggish though. Good job!

Developer

Hey thanks!

What do you find sluggish? If it is the reload time, it felt nice during development but it is true that it kinda breaks the dynamism.

There's not enough feedback to the player, which made the bullets and shooting in general feel very weak. I think making the bullets larger, faster and adding some kind of knockback or muzzle flash would've done a lot of service to the feel of the gun. The ghost feels like a heavyweight, kind of like I'm dragging a boulder through an ocean, if that makes sense? I think the ghost has too much inertia and gravity has too much effect on him. I'd also angle the camera to point in the direction of where I'm aiming. Now it's too focused on the player and feels very rigid. I hope this helps?

Developer(+1)

That helps a lot :D. All that is very much true, I will try to do a pass tomorrow for that.

Awesome, I'm glad it helps! Excited to see it with changes :D

Developer(+1)

Oki, I pushed the improved gameplay, it honestly feels better, each piece of feedback was super helpful!
If you try it, let me know if you see something else that should be improved.

Thanks again!
