The game looked amazing and sounded amazing, you did a really great job with the art and  the audio! As for the gameplay, that stamina bar doesn't make much sense, I mean if you run out of energy, you could just fall, but then there wouldn't be a way to die. Also I got stuck on one level, which was significantly harder than the previous one, so you might want to check that. Otherwise, it's a really solid entry!

Great game! I like the style, the level design, the music, it's just a well rounded game!

Awesome game! I loved the combination of walking on the ground and climbing on the walls.

I also love how you took the most INNAPROPRIATE animal for climbing... a bird.
Good sense of humour, I love that kinda stuff! xP

Definitely a really silly and cute story as well!

I have a few issues:

The game is pretty slow and repetetive. Maybe you could've added some falls you CAN'T climb on, so you have to jump over them. This adds some platforming to the mix without killing what made the game original in the first place.

The art is really good, but the stamina bar is 1/4th of a pixel in thickness. That's a shame, since you had the pixel size pretty much down except for that. Just make the stamina bar 1 pixel in thickness, alright? :)

The gameboy aesthetic is really nice, but it feels more like and arcade game than a gameboy game. Not that big of a deal, but I don't think they had SAMPLES for the music instruments back in the gameboy days... xP
Make the music more 8-bit like to complete the atmosphere of the game! :)

(I meant walls instead of falls)

Thank you for enjoying my game.

Why is a bird climbing the walls instead of flying? Who knows!

Spicing up the gameplay with some more classic platfomer elements isn't a bad idea, but for this project I wanted it to be "one mechanic done well" so I sticked to just climbing levels.

For the size of the HUD I understand, the sizing in the final product doesn't exactly fit... it's one of those things that I left as is because I was having to do other things like making the levels, doing more art and music, and in the end remained like that.

The music isn't too gameboy-ish, but I'm still experimenting a lot with BOSCA CEOIL and when I found instruments I really liked I sticked with them, ahah.

Thank you for the feedback, and thanks again for playing my game :)

Argh, why .rar and not .zip? Had to go through some extra trouble to get it unpacked. ;)

Other than that I'm glad that I did, because the game is great. Great graphics, sound, and music, and good use of the limitations. It also has a decent amount of challenge.

It really gives me the vibes of a GameBoy game. Good job.

My friends have been telling me I should stop using .rar for a while

I guess I should take the hint and just pack them in .zips instead x3

Still, thank you for playing my game and glad you enjoyed it!

The gameplay is simple, reminiscent of older platforming titles, but it works well.  The art and audio is very much like the gameboy aesthetic, which in my opinion is done quite good.  Overall not bad

I had my fun doing the gameboy style graphics :)
