Cool idea, while the dark effect was cool it ended up being more annoying the minimap doesn't get dark enough for it to matter and the light sometimes ends up painfully bright.
Yeah we ended up having issues between the lighting and the fog of war mask, so it just ended up being what it was.
This is really cool! I was delighted by how big and varied the map is.
Good the hear!
This game was very charming from the visuals, audio and the gameplay. At first I explored very far away from 'base' and got caught by some snakes and realised I was losing very quickly and couldn't recover not long after I lost and understand its best to be efficient and quick.
Because of this time restriction and 'speed' required I found myself watching the minimap more than the main center point of focus. I had all the information I needed in the minimap, larger scope, enemy footprints (VERY nice touch here..) and the lighting was a little easier... However I really liked the ramped up difficulty of the scene getting dark the longer you played! Nice detail and it did add to the experience.
The Artwork was super cool and relevant, the main character was likable and the little portrait icon made me like him even more.
From concept to execution this was really fun, however I still think the minimap was my main focus and instead should of been more of a extra tool to help than the 'be all end all' way of effectively playing the game efficiently :).
This is wonderful feedback and during development there was a lot of debate on whether or not to scrap the minimap. Kinda wish I had this feedback to break the debate and it would have been gone.
Couldn't figure out how to pick up the nuts
Sorry, you probably ran into the nut in your own base and I should have made it clear that was where you were trying to take them.
Ok cool thanks
