Good Idea but the control scheme is weird having to hold P but the character changes with a toggle makes it confusing.
The game is slow up movement speed and it'll feel more like a heist.

Not bad for your first game i must admit! I found the guards go from not moving to chasing me down to my exact location and also trapping me in a corner lol :D After getting used to the controls it made it a tad bit easier!
You should be proud of this for your first game jam! for some things you could try and add to your next one are stuff like:
> Once the enemies start chasing you have them run a script to check where their position is in relation to the player and have the xscale flip so that they face the player :)
> Speed up the player a little bit if there is no precise movements needed to be made
> Dont worry about zooming the camera in unless its necessary, sometimes it can put the player at a disadvantage if they are being chased and cannot see where they are running too :)
Other than those small points, I think this is great! Good job :)
Haha, weird game but i liked it (and i like the escape music)
Nice take on the human costume, lol. FYI, part of the game gets cut off unless you're in fullscreen mode, so you may need to edit your page settings a bit.
A neat concept! I struggled a bit finding the first door, and I think the controls would be a bit more intuitive if holding down hid you, and releasing the same button un-hid you. Putting the hide on a resource meter or something could also add a bit more complexity (as far as I could tell there was no incentive not to spam hide). Well done, especially for a first time jam!
