Nice visuals, I like that you spent some time for the story. I like the concept a lot, using the acceleration in space.
However if I may offer some feedback : once you go fast or get thrown off course, it's really hard to stop and take a different course. I get that's the point of the game, but maybe it would be nice to be able to slow down, or have an easy restart button so if you feel you start to get thrown off you can try again. Maybe have an emergency thing to move fast or slow down a lot that you can only use every x seconds to help dodge asteroids as well.
Anyway, great work, keep it up !

Thank you for the comment! I was considering making it where you hold shift it would super thrust in which ever direction you were going at the cost of more fuel, but lack of time and a sudden shift at work left me with where I left it. I think I’ll go and expand it now that the jam is over, so thank you!
Nice entry ! The visuals are great : it was clever to use a seemingly real background and it seems to repeat perfectly. The audio fit the game, although i would have liked to have some additional audio feedback from the game regarding the distance to the station. There are two things i would like to see improved :
- The time between the station signals is too long so it's hard to adjust the trajectory, may some audio feedback there would help
- The station seems very far away so the player is tempted to burn a lot of fuel to go there fast. However it becomes impossible to stop then. Maybe you could add a "fuel burst" of some kind to relatively quickly reduce the speed ?
Thanks for trying it out! :)
I definitely meant to add a ‘hold shift down for extra thrust at the cost of using more fuel’ thing, but despite that being simple to add, had work come up so didn’t add that at the end. Oh well! I’ll add more polish to it and implement that, plus adding more intuitive distance tracking.
Thank you for the feedback!
I made it with the tiniest sliver of oxygen left. Tense. I thought it looked good, had good music, nice little story. It's cool.
