i see, i can do clipping in OpenGL and it shouldn't be a lot of work.

thanks for the details, i'll keep that in mind for the next entry !

thanks for the feedback !
i submitted a windows build, it required a little bit of work to port as i'm developping on linux

regarding the background image, it's a dirty trick i'm doing because the window is not supposed to be resizeable... i will look into that but it might me a distro related thing

Nice game, it's a nice idea to have wrap-around.

My only criticism is that there is not really a reason for the player to use the smaller jump instead of the bigger jump.

I did not finish the game, so maybe you did something about that further in the game.

This is a cool idea !

The visuals are nice and creative.

The game was a bit hard, the collision boxes are not very generous. You could keep it that way but at least allow the player to put one ball and then the other in the bins.

I also encountered a bug that allowed me to move the balls before hitting the play button.

Thanks !

Thank you for playing my game, i appreciate your feedback !

Nice entry, it was a clever idea although it felt a bit out of control at times. The only issue i see is that the player can easily softlock by covering the plug with the blocks. Maybe it would be better if the plug itself hard collisions (but no attraction from the void). Some audio feedback would have been nice too.

Nice visuals and nice audio feedback. This is a really good entry ! Maybe the game is not enough forgiving with the hits but the player would probably go through all the levels very fast otherwise.

The game is really nice ! The keyboard controls feel a bit odd at first and it would have been more natural to use the mouse position relative to the player but you get used to it after a few planets.

The gravity of the planets is a great addition as it helps with the landing. The planets look really great.

The only downside may be the lack of audio feedback when using the booster and when you are alone in the void. The game probably needs to fill this gameplay phase with something else to do otherwise it will be hard to keep players engaged.

Nice entry ! The visuals are great : it was clever to use a seemingly real background and it seems to repeat perfectly. The audio fit the game, although i would have liked to have some additional audio feedback from the game regarding the distance to the station. There are two things i would like to see improved :

- The time between the station signals is too long so it's hard to adjust the trajectory, may some audio feedback there would help

- The station seems very far away so the player is tempted to burn a lot of fuel to go there fast. However it becomes impossible to stop then. Maybe you could add a "fuel burst" of some kind to relatively quickly reduce the speed ?

Really nice entry : nice visuals, fitting audio and nice gameplay. I don't see how it could be improved further, besides by adding more content !

The game has really nice visuals, with some sound effets or music there would be a nice ambiance.

The collisions on the moving platforms feel a bit weird, and it's surprising for a platforming game that your jump is straight up if you jump without speed. This is especially true as it's hard to know how much speed you have because of the platform physics glitch.

I really enjoyed playing your game

Nice game ! Here is my feedback:

- It would be nice to keep the lanterns where they are when the player dies die, and have another dedicated button to restart everything. In the current state, it's hard to see the added value of putting a lantern somewhere.

- The visual effect on the player looks good and the controls feel responsive

- The game would really benefit of sound effects when the player hits something, when you jump ... You could even use that as a gameplay mechanics where the sound gets louder when close to walls

Really nice idea !
The audio effects and graphics are nice, the gravity simulation is good.

You probably have some issues with the sounds because when i played the sounds for the destruction of asteroids sometimes stopped playing.

The lasers are a bit unfair when they spawn close to you and you don't have time to react, you could probably improve that by tweaking the randomization a bit.

You did something nice for someone this young ! Keep it up in the future. Here is a little feedback on your entry:

- I had issues with the camera, it was bumping in the walls. I think this is because the camera has to stay inside the closed environment you made. You can try to improve it based on what it is now or you could use fixed camera views.

- You need some ambiant lighting ! The main character is all black when seen from behind and it makes it a little hard to know where you are going.

- The music is really nice but i'm not sure it fits the game theme or the feel you wanted to give to the player. If you composed it yourself, then it's really good, otherwise check that it's a creative commons if you did not.

Audio and graphics are really nice and coherent.

The idea for the game is really good. When playing, it is hard to know when you can / are using the grappling hook, the feedback with the cursor is not enough for my taste.

A longer grappling distance would be better because it's really hard to hook things, i ended up mostly using the fly button and inertion to move. This would also make it easier to plan your path, tough this may also be made easier by increased the camera's FOV.

Great entry !

Thanks !

Cool game ! I like that the balance makes it hard to put everything in one operation.

I just updated the game page. I hope you will be able to understand what I tried to make.
