Really well done! The music added the right amount of stress. I love the idea of collecting SIM cards to keep the phone call going.
Such a unique way to use "Card" in the limitation.
Thanks! We had a lot of fun coming up with the 'calling your boss' concept and I feel we made it work pretty well!
Very good presentation! Visuals are great and I loved the conversation with your Boss. Good job!!
Happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for the nice compliments!
I agree with Brain's comment about the edge collision, but aside from that, the presentation and polish were really nice. The little conversation you have as your boss continually roasts you is hilarious. Well done!
Thank you for playing the game and for the comment! Looking back adding something to show where the ledge is is something we should've added, but I guess we learned that for next time! Poko is the main creative mastermind behind Satan's funny lines.
Very good presentation. The style and visuals are just top-notch. I would've liked some visual borders to the playing field. I had a couple of collisions where I'd sworn I could dodge an object but couldn't because I hit the edge of the field.
Thanks for the feedback! For visual reference we set the collision to be around the 2 vertical lines on the ground, so you can tell that that's where the edges are.
We should probably have made a clearer way of showing it though!
Presentation is incredible here -- mixing cubefield's mechanics with that "animal crossing" world-scroll camera works great, and the art assets are all great (our wonderful boss's portrait is top notch). I'd also like to know if the soundtrack and On-Hit grunt sound effect are royalty free...
Hey there, glad you like the game! I actually made all the music and sound effects myself using audacity and FL studio, the grunting sound is me grunting into my microphone ;).
Liked it! T'was pretty nice~
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the game! :)
Really cool endless runner! Im doing video feedback / first impressions for this jam, so here you go:
Thank you for the reply, We're glad you enjoyed our game! This was our first jam so we are really happy to see someone enjoy our game. (I did the art btw, thanks for all the compliments)
