The idea is so cool. I think you have to remake the jumping to make the platformer better. Also, I didn't quite get the Tetris, maybe you can add a tutorial? I loved the concept!
the bloc character is too heavy during the platformer , his jump is not handy at all ^^"
despite all it's a nice game idea :)
Only thing i can say is refine the controls on the platformer, otherwise its a great concept and really enjoyable game 10/10 ;D
Heya I am doing video feedback/first impressions/just my honest thoughts. Really awesome entry!
This is actually pretty fun concept. I ended up playing tetris most of the time lol. It needs more polish especially with the jump and platformer aspect. But playing tetris (fun!) and getting the pieces to continue navigation is a great idea. Although the platformer aspect needs some more work. The controls was confusing to me... I have to press 2 directional buttons to rotate? But overall i think it's a great concept, i kept playing until i jump into an infinite falling pit lol. I think the leap of faith needs a hint for player to jump down there. It's pretty good work and idea for a jam game. Great job guys!
Great music. I was slightly confused in the beginning because I ran up to the first block and tried to jump up it. Apparently you don't get a full jump against a block which led to this weird back jump to progress. I also got stuck once I got the first piece and didn't really know how to place it. I looked in the desc and saw you need to press "e" but I couldn't figure out if I was supposed to place a block, remove one, or what not. Overall, kind of confusing, but I think you had a great concept and sounds, and pretty nice nostalgic textures
Thanks for giving your viewpoint! The weird wall collision to hamper jump was an early attempt at wall jumping that we decided to scrap. I will update the description to be more clear.
Nice I like it! The art and the sound effects are great! I also like the idea ! Maybe the player was moving a bit slowly and it was a little bit frustrating but in rest Great Game!
Thank you so much! Would you believe that this is the game in its easier form :D? The first concept was unbelievably challenging.
