Use of the limitation
Your batteries are faulty, and jumping and certain attacks can drain your power, you're on a quest for power to get new batteries. Also only used 5 colours in-game. Please note: had to re-upload because of game-breaking bug meaning you had to leave the game if you died and restart manually - apart from this my submission is identical to when first uploaded before the deadline.

Gosh darn it - I'm a sucker for anthropomorphized handhelds! I quite like the design and  animations on your character. I think there could be a better balance of  the theme and gameplay, like what takes energy and what gives energy, check out Chibi-robo Park Patrol :P Good job!

Really nice little game. I think your art was really well-done and looked nice and crisp. I liked how you implemented different kinds of attacks too, I came across the right-click attack by mistake but it looked really cool!

One thing I might like to see adjusted are the collision boxes on the shelves so either you could jump through to higher shelves or at least have a narrower box so you don't clip as hard when jumping off of a shelf. If you plan to continue any work on this, I think it would also be good to maybe add a score system too, just for bragging rights and whatnot. Like I said, it looks really visually polished, and with some work on the gameplay, it could definitely turn into something really neat! Great job.

Thanks for the notes also, this was my first game and, although I learnt a lot, I just wasn't able to implement some of the things to just add a little more polish to it. If I work on this game in the future, I'll be sure to add a score system as well as balance it a bit better amongst a few other tweaks. Once again, thanks for your lovely comment! :)

It looks like your fonts are alias/hinted, which means they aren't just white - they're white and a bunch of greys. Regardless the game is pretty, albeit hard! I'm not sure I understand how much my batteries charge from defeating an enemy or getting a chip. Regardless, good work!

I know there's a good few tweaks I just didn't have time to do, Think I overscoped a bit. I was so close to implementing the counter for collecting the cartridges, and it does log them in the backend I just couldn't figure out the ui element in time.  :)

Hi there! Thanks for letting me know about this, It's my first game and first time uploading so obviously I'd made a mistake - I have re-uploaded the files now so should prompt you with a ZIP Folder for windows instead of just the .exe - Again, thanks for letting me know otherwise all my time would've gone to waste!
