good work dev
loved the aesthetics and the atmosphere!
also the sound of the radiation meter worked really well on keeping up a tension while discovering where this mysterious path led the player hehe
great job!
Really smart use of the controls limitation, visual presentation is fantastic :D love the game
Tight. Polished. Smart. Loved this game. Would have liked to seen more gameplay. But really enjoyed the length and polish. Great job.
Aesthetics were on point and the sound design was atmospheric, seems like you planned it to have a horror-ish theme to it but didn't have time to implement those mechanics. Overall very good presentation for a game jam!
Art style is very good, and entire feeling of an old-style game is facinating! Great work!
Very awesome as a small little experience, the visuals were awesome and maybe its just me but it almost felt like a horror game at points. When the gaiger counter goes dead silence when going around that one corner, I was ready to see a monster. The game is super linear but Jam game, whatcha gonna do. I think using this control scheme was a really awesome take on the limit as well! Really cool entry and great work!
I did experience one bug where by using E I was able to clip through the Radiation ray at the very end. It let me hover and walk around out of bounds, I tried to recreate it but it did seem to happen the second time? either way it was a pretty goofy bug that was more fun than anything else.
again great work!
Thanks for the kind words! I was initially planning to have an invisible monster you could only detect using the geiger counter, with the goal of leading it into a trap or something. But it was clear I wouldn't have enough time to pull that off, so reduced the scope and made this.
I think there is a bug where you can turn and move at the same time with the right timing, might have been that which caused you to slip through the collision.
Anyway glad you enjoyed it!
The art is super good and the game is very inmersive, especially because of the sounds from the background.
Love the art style!!
The art style looks really cool, and the game is really atmospheric, good job!
