as a technically demo for a grapple system i thought you did a good job on it. the grapple is nice although maybe freeze the rotation on the z so he doesn't spin around, unless that was intended.  but great work on your first game and i hope you learned a few things and make more in the future I am looking forward to it!

Thank you, I know there was a lot I needed to work on, hopefully some of the things I've learnt will help me with the game jam I'm doing now. This was one of the first things I've actually finished, and in doing so I've found out new things, not only from myself, but others. I thank you, and everyone else, for helping me do this and learn from this!

Ahh, honestly the way the movement mechanic is implemented functions well, but because the rest of it is so undercooked that this game comes across a bit unplayable and noisy.  Not sure what I should be doing, and because there is no background and all the elements are moving, its hard to tell where u are.

Would love to try a proper platforming level built with the mechanic though, if you ever get around to that, link me and i'll give it a go.

Would appreciate it if you could take a look at mine and share your thoughts/rate as well :)

Alright no problem! I did realise that after uploading, I'm working on an update that may fix some of it! I'll also consider making a platformer with these mechanics. I'll check out your game when I'm available!

Not sure if you have reuploaded, but i had no issues starting the game and i'm using the itchio app... which is the worst way to do it. haha. really liked the art, only thing I would have added is some sort of instructions, I had no idea to click for the birds because they took a while to even come in sight. and when i did grab one, it threw me tumbling, which was cool, but i landed on my side and couldn't right myself. not that it had any affect on the gameplay really, just my immersion. haha. Good job though!

Developer

Thanks! That was a problem I did face (having the character fall on it's side), I had some code written for but it didn't work and I just wanted to release the game already. I'm working on an update now, although school will most likely take up all my time again, you can see if there's a new update in 8 - 10 hours from now (I know it's a long wait, school really just sucks, doesn't it?), I'm happy that people are enjoying the game more than I expected!

Developer

I'm also considering adding a tutorial just before the game starts, so it'll say how to do everything, and also some tips!

Sorry to say that I'm not able to play your game... Playing in browser and downloading both don't work. Maybe you should put everything into the package.

Developer

Yeah, I need to figure out what's wrong, everything works in the unity editor, so there must be some porting issues.
