great work on the voice acting i really loved that about this game. I hope to see more games in the future!
Amazing game, very original. Music and art specially stood out to me.
One minor complaint, I didn't like that the story text disappeared whenever I had to make a decision (for example, I clicked through the story because I'm a fast reader, but then I would find myself choosing between "Yes" or "No" without knowing what it said) But honestly, that's just my bad x)
Great job!
Thanks for playing and the feedback. :-) Good point, it would be much better if the question was still there when the decision had to be made. I will try to add this in an update of the game.
So a game about kleptomania, but concentrating on cats. Catomania? Very nice voice acting, although the volumes varied from low to high inconsistently, but that's expected in a jam. Very cute and nice game though! Feels like an adventure.
Thanks for the feedback. I will look into the inconsistently volumes. True, we could have made an adventure game out of it. :-)
A lovingly handcrafted and well-voiced narrative, with interesting plots twists.
The background gets a little cluttered with your travel history, and it seems you can prematurely end the game just be visiting the mayor's house without any cats and no opportunity to turn back. A reset button would be handy for quickly jumping back into the adventure to seek out new endings and story pathways, even though the refresh button is just a click away.
Otherwise, very well done and thought out. Good luck! :D
Thanks for playing and your feedback.
Totaly agree with all your points listed. Most of them were already on the list for an after rating update. :-)
- I think the travel history will be in a own hideable UI element.
- Mayor's house will get a option select to decide if you already want to deliver the found cats.
- Reset button at the end and maybe a little Menu to reset
Great sound design and art! Interesting game play too! Nice work! :D
Cool little game, was really impressed with the fact that you guys had voice acting!
Wow! I really enjoyed this game. The voice acting was such a nice touch, and the icons are very nice! A good short story game.
Keep up the good work, I'll subscribe to you to see what else you come up with!
Good to hear that you enjoyed our game.
Thanks for the subscription! Could take a while until we find the time for another jam. :)
I really liked your game! Nice plot. Great graphics. I especially liked the voice acting! It's great! You not only made the game, but also voiced it! It's just gorgeous! After several attempts, I managed to collect the cats! The game is missing a restart button. She would be very useful to me. It also seems to me that the graphics are very small. I understand that there is a restriction imposed due to jam rules. But maybe it was worth stretching the screen. But this option needs to be checked. Tell me, does the game have several good endings or a good one?
Thanks for the nice words :-) Yes, I totally agree a restart button would be useful. We will check the option to stretch the graphics. There are some other things which were not implemented/done right due to time running out :-) I guess we will update the game after the voting period. All in all there are 6 endings. 3 are based on how many cats you have found... if you did a "good job" and some other requirements are matched the story goes on a little bit and you have more endings there. I think our endings are never entirely good ^^ i guess it depends what you define as good. ;-) Sorry for the cryptic answer, but I don't want to spoil anyone.
Thanks for your reply! I'll try to find all the endings! I really liked your game and it is very interesting to find out all the secret places of the plot!
I hope you find them all. :-)
