I think there should be an indicator that the hat on the human counts as a possesion. The movement is wonky. You speed up for no discernible reason. Otherwise everything is ok.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Do you mind explaining a bit more about what’s wrong with the movement? It seems pretty normal to me

The only thing I can say is that at some points in time my speed was trippled. It seemed like it had somethig to do with framerate but I couldn't find a 100% sure explanation

Developer

I updated some settings, so hopefully it’s better now :)

Good game! Nice graphics and music. Nice concept. You've got a good project in such a limited amount of time. Keep it up! Good luck!

Developer

I'm kinda biased but it was fun! Also, while I was playing, the human suddenly vanished and never came back lmao

I liked the concept but I think there should have been another way to destroy the items because it became a bit tedious to just stun the man and then melee the items.

Nice start to a game. I like the theme and use of the constraint.

I had a hard time figuring out how to progress, even after watching the intro and reading the description. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but I was unable to destroy some of the green objects, but it still gave me progress on the ruin meter. I think it would have benefited from more feedback showing the player that they are progressing and that they've opened the cat flat (I didn't notice the meter changing until after spam clicking a book for a couple minutes). Also, a couple of the sprites seem to turn away from the user's camera rather than towards it.

Thanks for your feedback! I agree, it needs more player feedback. I think a simple addition we could’ve done was to add a checklist in the top left corner for what needs to be done. But overall, I’m still pretty happy with the result :)
