You have a good game on this game jam. I liked the music. Very good sound and the theme of the game. Good game!
Thanks :)
Really nice art! I think it would be better if the cat could walk on diagonal platforms
I know but unity´s tilemap collider isnt allowing it
Fun, sometimes pretty hard. Was a bit sad to realise that you start all over if you die. Other than that nice graphics and good challenge!
It kept me on my feet. A good challenge. I really like how many levels there are in the game. Just enough and very enjoyable.
The night city art was great and liked the music too! Fun game! :D
Great game. I really like the background graphics. Maybe a lighter fur color for the cat would make it better visible.
Lucy The Stray certainly manages to capture the cityscape night theme as much as possible. The artwork is very nice for an 8x8 game. I certainly felt that it connected quite well with the tileset. However, I feel the visual for the cat does not blend too well with the other art assets. The music is fine, I just wish that the levels weren't made too durable. Because the music can certainly outstay its welcome along with the levels. I felt that the level design was decent, it provided a challenge. I really liked the transition to Amy.wav's pink tileset. However, I wish it was added to the levels before the Player reaches it in the later levels. It definitely needed more assets to keep things interesting. Overall, I enjoyed playing this game. I just wish the experience could've been better with that much needed polish of implementing more objects to jump over, etc. I'd say it's a decent platformer. The controls are mostly smooth. The collision can be annoying with the Player and the tiles sometimes. I like that speed is needed to make it over some platforms that require the Player to sprint and jump.
It certainly has potential, I really want to give more credit to the artist though because the art is very visually pleasing in my opinion. I'd say more credit to the coder if they had ironed out these bugs.
Great work! Keep up the great work! :D
I appreciate the feedback :)
I was going to change the colour of the cat to a light orange so it would stand out against the background better but fireduck wanted to keep the black one. I wanted to work on the music a little more too, but i could only make a quick loop with the time i had, and fireduck just added it anyway. If we'd have had more time for the jam, i'd definitely have been able to improve those things.
You're welcome :)

Great work! Keep up the great work! :D
Really well detailed for the limitation, with boxes getting burned when they touch fire being a nice touch. Don' know what the pink stuff is, but that it's hazardous meets all my expectations.
Has potential to be an interesting physics puzzle platformer.
Good work, and Good luck! :D
The "pink stuff" is supposed to be acid xD
a fun little run through a dangerous cityscape
in terms of controls: up-to-jump is widely discouraged, please use an action button instead! it’s especially weird when someone is using a controller joystick!
in terms of gameplay: there’s a lot of blind drops, and sometimes you’ll get stuck seemingly on nothing and have to jump to move, but aside from that, it’s a decent start at a platformer :3
oh and also i did play through in smol mode, since i know you put that there for a reason
The weird "getting stuck on nothing" thing is unity´s tilemap colliders fault i have no idea how to fix it (thats the same reason why you cant walk up the ramps)
I know this problem with the tilemap collider from an earlier game of mine. Did you try to check the "Used By Composite" in the tilemap collider 2D and add a Composite Collider 2D to the tilemap game object? This fixed it for me,
