wtf 766mb! I actually want to play but this is so big :(
I'll look at getting a smaller build on the itch page this weekend after the voting period is up. the large size is due to ue4 being naturally much bigger than other engines and an issue i encountered on the final day where i had some dependencies that were breaking certain actors when i was removing the bulk of unused content. I'm sorry for the large size, this is something i'm going to plan more for in the future.
I like the use of 3D here! It feels satisfying to destroy buildings with the dash attack! I did notice that I could see things like raycasts and collisions in the game, I don't know if that was intentional. There's also a bit of a lack of music and sound effects and the like. Other than that, I had an enjoyable time overall!
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. I sadly had to crunch before the deadline and little things like my line trace's and collision were still visible as i packaged a development build rather than a shipping build to save some time. I want to improve the balancing for the stamina system so that the slash and bite seem more reasonable to use rather than only relying on the dash.
In regards to lack of sound, As i was working solo and didnt have the time to source many appropriate effects but this is something im going to rectify for future jams by prepping a library of sounds beforehand.

I really liked this! i streamed it to a couple friends, they said and i quote "chomp had a REALLY big day out, thank you and thats.. perfect"
but also this was a v enjoyable game i rly liked how it felt to destroy the buildings also the menu screen was really well done i liked the art there a lot.
This feedback has made my day thankyou! I was worried game feel was a bit choppy as i didn't have much time to play test and get things balanced out before submission. Looking forward to trying out your game this evening !
Cool entry! it didn't run the best on my PC but that's mostly an Unreal thing I find, but luckily it was playable. Fun game, I found that my favorite move to use was the dash, it was just a very satisfying move to use and felt more reliable. I however did bug it out once and get infinity Dash before the last stand, I am not sure how I did it but I ended up getting 49200 points because of it. My normal best was 7000. Sadly I couldn't play for too long because of the lag, but I enjoyed what I did play. Great work
