Mainly just me, although some assets were pulled from the internet - attributions are on the project page.

Software used
Unity, Paint.NET for 'art' and page assets, Chiptone for some sounds, and Audacity to record pop sounds

Use of the limitation
Your health is treated as ammo, as to grab the bubbles you have to launch yourself and you take damage while in the air. So, your health is an expendable resource to get more bubbles!

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
I made this in about 10 hours because I was itching to make something. The mini jams seemed like a perfect opportunity! This game isn't too good, especially graphically and it's almost silent, but I had fun, and I'm glad I actually made something. Hopefully sometime I can team up with some artists in future! I'm interested to see what better devs have done with the theme and limitation :)

Ha! I love the blood particle fx and the splatter sfx. My first shot I thought it you pull back to fling the opposite direction so I shot right into the spikes haha.

Interesting concept! I think it would help if you were able to launch yourself an additional time while you were in the air, but still interesting nonetheless.

Thanks. If I thought of that, that would've been a powerup. I accidentally tweaked the jump values so that air flinging gives you enough force to overcome your own flinging so that you can save yourself from spikes, but not enough to continue jumping while in the air, which I think is a good balance?
