This one was really dope! I loved the character design, gave me a total "Gigasword" vibe.
Gameplay was very straightforward and fluid as well. My only gripe is some of the audio was a bit harsh.
Really good overall :)
Thank you very much for the compliments. What do you mean by harsh audio? The volume of the sound effects?
oh no, the audio levels were great! I’m just snobby and particular with sound selection lol 😅
They were perfectly fine!
Ah ok, I get what you mean. Don't worry, any criticism is welcomed ahah
Cool idea, I really like how you transitioned from the tutorial to the proper game itself, it was very cohesive! I do think that the difficulty balancing should have had a bit more time spent on it but besides that I really enjoyed the game
Yep the difficulty is the biggest problem in it, I spent way to much time on animations so I made the level very late and didn't test it much. Anyway thank you for the nice comments!
brooo, same situation ._.
I love the mix up of the theming! Art is nice and gameplay is mostly responsive. Music is good. A lot to love in this submission. I think you can definitely add more to this and polish it up. Turtle Room of Desctruction was a cool guy.
Thank you very much for the nice comments!
It took me a lot of tries to figure out that you can dash forward by attacking, but I finally outran the giant crocodile thing :)
I'm not sure how you escape "the room" if the game takes place outside? But I think it is really cool that you use your hammer not only for attacking, but also for propelling yourself forward and upward, quite a creative use.
Hey thanks for playing first! Glad you managed to beat it, it was quite hard as I didn't have much time to test it ahah. It might not be clear but The giant crocodile thing is actually supposed to be the room you came from. So it starts chasing you outside and you have to escape it by running away
Ahh, I see now
Really hard.
Yep I agree, sadly I didn't have much time to playtest so I realized it too late and didn't have much time to correct it
well okay
