Highly polished, concise golf game. Beat it in 69 strokes on my first run! The CRT / Vector art style is great. Theme of the jam aside (but also who really cares, it's just a creativity prompt imo), I loved this as a "vector mini golf" game. Reminds me of the best of Miniclip and Newgrounds games in gradeschool, but with a modern polish.
Oh Thank you haha. The Theme is that the ball needs to escape the room (the shape) and it gets hit by an hammer.
Great game, especially the game feel which is very nice. I assume the ball is hit by a hammer but without the context of the jam I wouldn't know it, it wasn't very clear. Some level feel a bit luck based because of the speed of moving objects. A bit of background music would also had a lot to it. But honestly other than that it's a very good game, simple but very satisfying to play. Good job!
Thank you.
Yes the ball is hit by a hammer. I did it like that because I wanted to make the minimalistic art style. A real hammer wouldn't have fit.
I guess I will update the game after the jam and fix the levels that are too fast.
Super fun little game! The art style was simple and nice and the post processing was done well. The game has the potential for a ton of cool levels and there are a ton of different mechanics you could add (portals, rotating objects, bumpers, etc). The moving objects were a little too fast and that combined with the small delay before your shot made it a little hard to judge the timings (maybe shoot the shot instantly after clicking?). Overall, this was a super great and fun game and I'm exited to see what you do with it next!
Thank you so much for the Feedback.
Yes, I will change the speed of the Objekts. I had to make the delay because without it there would not be a hammer. (Rectangle hitting the ball).
I will update the game after the jam :)
Thanks :D
Really fun physics-based puzzles! Except the last level felt like I was hitting the ball until I got lucky. The post-processing effect is a bit too strong, I think.
But still, had a good time (took me 77 tries to beat everything :P)
Thank you for the feedback!
You are right, I should improve the last level.
A nice puzzle game with the potential of endless Levels. The different Level Layout and obstacles let the game stay fresh. I'm looking forward to see more gameplay relvanted mechanics. You made a solid game!
Thank youuu :)
It makes me so happy, that you liked the game :)
How should I do infinite levels without designing each?
I guess I will update the game sometimes after the jam.
Well small advice "think big". If AI can create art. Then you will be able to create a precederal Level System ;-)
whoa... yes maybe there is an way...
Cool game, but I don't see a match for a special object. I would be grateful if you rate our game!
yeah, the special object is the rectangle that hits the ball. It should be an hammer. I had to do this because I wanted the minimalistic art style with the shapes.
this game is so fun :D
Thank you so much :D
klein aber fein ;)
Very nice game, simple but effective graphics and audio, mostly intuitive gameplay, with the only complaint being that with some of the moving stuff it felt more like i got lucky rather than timing but thats no biggie!
Only other small thing i would've loved to see was an "actual" hammer sprite/shape that smacks the ball, as i first thought this was supposed to be a pool stick ;)
Still great job though!
Danke ;)
I wanted to make the game minimalistic, if I had added a hammer the game would not be the simple art style I though.
Nice little game! Look and feel was great and worked really well - can see this being a really successful mobile game with the short one-screen levels. Only negative I can say is that I found the moving walls moved so fast that it was impossible to judge the timing of your shots, so those levels were just random chance of getting past.
Thanks :)
At first I though it is too easy. That`s because I made it faster.
Nice game! I like the minimalist style you went for and the particles and graphics are fantastic as well. I think having some music would have helped in the overall experience though, regardless, I think this is a solid game!
Thank you so much for the feedback!
I'm glad you liked it :)
