How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
Sisyphus' endless existence of meaningless labour can be considered a loop, and his use of the pickaxe to break boulders fits with the special object requirement.

Ancient Greek Cookie Clicker! 😉 The mythology aesthetic and philosophical framing complemented each other well. As the other commenters, I would have liked something more to do after a while

I love pico-8 games and this one is no exception, good job

Yeah way too slow, even if that is the point... Good implementation of the theme, and looks good but, ooph, there is no way I wanted to play to the end.

It was a tad boring..... i know it starts slow, but it stays real slow for a while. Now it may have been my poor upgrade choice, but i just felt a bit mindless holding down x... although i guess that is the point of the game...

The Ui did look rather pretty though.

Looping forever more

(I did max everything out in the end, and yes it was fast then....)

Also it took me a bit to work out your upgrade value system lol

:))))

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you played all the way to maxing out the upgrades. Yes, I agree the game isn't very exciting, but like you understood that is its point haha
