Sadly couldn't get this running on Linux, so I can't rate it, but I absolutely had to comment to say the extremely detailed devlog is really cool! That's something I'd love to see for more jam entries, just out of curiosity

Took me a little while to get a hang of the mechanics, but once you do it's a neat little action puzzler! Was able to acquire gold and diamonds, get 110 of storage and reach maximum depth

I think it felt a little weird having the move action after the dynamite action. Most of the time the loop I went with was move > dig > TNT to make a big hole, build a ladder to get out of the hole, then walk back to the surface. The move section in between TNT was used walking back and forth most of the time. Sometimes I only wanted to mine and didn't use the move actions at all, so it feels weird not having anything to do anything productive during one section of the loop. Overall it was quite an interesting and creative interpretation of the theme, good stuff.

I wasn't able to balance the game fully with game testers, and so the partically useless move section could have been flagged during that.
I think the idea dehind it was that you could run away from the dynamite if you placed it at your feet?
Also, what was the best ore you reached? :)
I reached the gold ore. There wasn't a lot of it, just a few here and there. The TNT aiming system is also, wonky, if you were able to accurately throw it then you wouldn't really need to run away from it.
Yes, the tnt aiming system could have done with improvement. As you go deeper the amount of gold and then diamond increases.
I really like the theme implementation. I found it very challenging to get back to the surface. It was a bit annoying to try to use up all my movement on the top of a ladder since you don’t jump as high.

And yes, the getting back up to the top is a mission in itself... Just as a note, it shouldn't be using the jump uses (10 movement uses) when climbing a ladder it should only use 1, and i could look at adding the ability to jump off a ladder propely?
